Nedu Questions Cost Of Living In Nigeria, Says ₦200,000 Monthly Salary May Not Be Enough.

Media personality Nedu has criticised the Nigerian government over the rising cost of living, questioning how much an average Nigerian needs to earn monthly to live comfortably.

Nedu raised the concerns in a video shared online, where he questioned whether monthly earnings of ₦100,000 or ₦200,000 were sufficient to meet basic needs amid rising transport fares and the increasing cost of goods and services.

He expressed concern that living expenses continue to rise while many Nigerians struggle to earn enough to cover their daily needs.

The media personality also claimed that fewer than two per cent of Nigerians earn as much as ₦200,000 monthly, highlighting what he described as the financial pressure facing workers across the country.

His comments have renewed conversations about wages, purchasing power and the growing gap between Nigerians’ earnings and the cost of meeting basic needs.

However, the claim about the proportion of Nigerians earning ₦200,000 or more was not independently verified in the information provided.
