The “Wotowoto Seasoning” crooner made the statement during a recent episode of the In Motion Podcast, where he spoke about his views on love, marriage and his Christian faith.
According to Odumodublvck, he is willing to die for his partner because the Bible instructs Christians to love their wives as Christ loved the Church, noting that Jesus died for the Church.
He said, “Any man who can’t die for his woman is foolish. I am a Christian, and Jesus Christ said we should love our wife like Christ loves the Church. And what did Christ do for the Church? He died for the Church.
“I am probably going to die before my wife, in Jesus’ name, because my wife is younger than me. Why should she die before me? It doesn’t make any sense. I should die before my wife.
“And when I die, it is my wife who will take and distribute my wealth to my children so that there will be no issue. It is my wife that will continue my legacy.”
The rapper also addressed claims that he is a misogynist, describing the perception as one of the biggest misconceptions about him.
Odumodublvck said he considers the label unfair, pointing to his willingness to make sacrifices for his partner as evidence of his support for women.
“The biggest misconception about me is that I am a misogynist. It bothers me a lot because it is such an unfair thing to say. I am willing to die for my girlfriend; does that seem like what a misogynist would do?” he asked.
