Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has said he would prefer to be left alone to spend time with his children amid public attention surrounding his family.
The world’s richest man made the remark while responding to a discussion on X following reports that he had removed his transgender daughter, Vivian, from his health insurance.
The claim, attributed to TMZ, alleged that Musk dropped Vivian, formerly known as Xavier, from his health insurance after she transitioned.
However, Musk denied the report, writing on X: “This is utterly false. At no point did I remove Xavier from health insurance.”
An X user subsequently expressed sympathy for Musk, referring to the media reports and other public controversies involving people linked to the billionaire.
The user urged Musk to focus on his work, writing: “Let the man make his rockets and take us to the moon.”
Responding to the post, Musk said: “At this point, I would prefer to be alone and just spend time with my kids.”
Musk’s response comes amid continued public attention surrounding his personal life and relationships. However, he has firmly denied the specific allegation that he removed his daughter from his health insurance.
