Toluwanisings’ Family Seeks Support For Widow, Children.

The family of late Nigerian gospel singer Olayemi Bayonle Bolaji, popularly known as Toluwanisings, has announced plans to hold a night of tributes and service of songs in his honour while appealing to Nigerians to support his wife and children following his death.

The event will take place on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 3pm at the Hall of Grace, Jogor Centre, Ibadan, Oyo State.

The family made the announcement through a post on the late singer’s social media page, inviting relatives, friends, colleagues, fans and other well-wishers to gather and celebrate his life and contributions to gospel music.

The programme is expected to provide an opportunity for people who knew the singer to pay their last respects, remember his ministry and reflect on the impact he made through his music.

In addition to announcing the event, the family has appealed to members of the public to assist the singer’s wife and children as they adjust to life without him.

In an appeal titled A Call for Love and Support, the family urged Nigerians and other well-meaning individuals to offer financial assistance to the bereaved widow during this difficult period.

The family explained that contributions from the public would help support the woman as she faces the challenges of raising their children following the loss of her husband.

It also provided bank account details through which interested individuals can make donations to the family.

The appeal comes as the singer’s death continues to generate reactions among gospel music lovers and other Nigerians who have expressed sympathy with his family.

Toluwanisings died on October 14, 2026, hours after ministering at a praise concert organised by fellow gospel singer Bidemi Olaoba in Ibadan, Oyo State.

News of his death shocked many people, particularly members of the gospel music community, who had gathered to celebrate their faith through music at the event.

His passing also sparked discussions on social media over the circumstances surrounding his final moments and the medical attention he received before his death.

The singer’s personal assistant had alleged that several hospitals refused to admit him when he needed emergency medical care. The allegation raised concerns among Nigerians about access to emergency treatment and the response of healthcare facilities to patients in critical conditions.

Meanwhile, the planned night of tributes and service of songs will bring together those who admired the singer and followed his music during his lifetime.

The gathering is expected to allow family members, friends, fellow gospel ministers and fans to celebrate his life, remember his work in the gospel music industry and offer comfort to those he left behind.

As preparations continue for the event, the family is also seeking assistance from the public to help the singer’s widow and children cope with the loss and the responsibilities that have followed his death.
