Rabiu Kwankwaso’s Presidential Bid Suffers Huge Setback As Former Kano State Governor, Ibrahim Shekarau Is Set To Dump NNPP For The PDP Over Betrayal Issues.

Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, former governor of Kano State and senator representing Kano Central senatorial district, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau, on Monday, told newsmen how former governor of the State and presidential candidate of the New Nigerian People’s Party, NNPP, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, allegedly disappointed him and all his supporters after joining the NNPP in May 2022.

Ibrahim Shekarau, spoke at a press conference he held in Kano on Monday where he promised to announce his final decision of his defection in few as days.

But information available has it that the former chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ibrahim Shekarau has met with the highest decision body, “The Shura Council”, at the weekend to discuss on issues related to Atiku Abubakar’s proposal for him to join the People’s Democratic Party, PDP as he cannot longer go back to the APC given the way and manner he exited.

The committee, under the chairmanship of Barrister Habib Shehu, had submitted its reportfor consideration, but there are insinuations he is likely to announce his joining the PDP to help Atiku Abubakar actualize his presidential bid come 2023 against Rabiu Kwankwaso of the NNPP.
