The Naira yesterday appreciated to N1,530 per dollar in the parallel market, compared with N1,537 per dollar on Wednesday.
In the same way, the Naira improved to N1,490 per dollar in the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM).
Figures released by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, revealed that the exchange rate for the naira appreciated to N1,490 per dollar from N1,498 per dollar on Wednesday, reflecting an N8 gain for the naira.
As a result, the gap between the parallel market rate and the NFEM rate widened to N40 per dollar from N39 per dollar on Wednesday.
