Ibadan is filled with excitement as prominent individuals arrived in the city on Friday for the coronation ceremony of Senator Rashidi Ladoja, former Governor of Oyo State, as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadan land.
Among those who arrived early was Senator Ibikunle Amosun, a former Governor of Ogun State, who was seen wearing his signature cap and a white outfit.
Amosun’s predecessor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, was also among the distinguished Nigerians who came to celebrate the new traditional leader.
The coronation has attracted nationwide attention, with political figures, traditional leaders, and notable personalities gathering to honour Ladoja as he takes his place on the esteemed throne.
