Singer, Spyro Proposes To Woman He Met At Lagos Nightclub

Nigerian musician, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, widely known as Spyro, has asked his partner, Janet Atum, to marry him. She is a woman he first encountered at a nightclub in Lagos.

In a message shared on Instagram on Friday, the singer recalled how they initially met in the early hours of 30 March 2024, while he was carrying out his work.

He explained that their encounter at 2:48 a.m. marked the start of a relationship which has since given him happiness.

Spyro disclosed that Atum accepted his proposal, referring to her as someone who had become essential in his life.

He wrote, “On the 30th of March 2024, my world paused as I found love in an unexpected place at exactly 2:48am and met the answer to my prayers, @_callme_njure, in a Lagos club while at work, and from then till now I have lived every single day a very happy man. Thank you for saying YES, my sweet J, to the rest of my life with you.”

Spyro, best known for his popular track Who’s Your Guy?, continues to advance his career within the Nigerian music industry, with collaborations that have increased his audience both domestically and internationally.
