Tinubu Grants Automatic Employment To Late FCT Head Of Service’s Children.

President Bola Tinubu has approved automatic employment for the four children of Dr Grace Adayilo, the late Head of the Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, who recently passed away.

FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, made this known on Saturday during Adayilo’s funeral service held at the National Ecumenical Centre in Abuja.

The solemn event was attended by senior government officials, civil servants, relatives, and friends who gathered to pay tribute to her legacy.

Describing her death as a “painful loss,” Wike praised Adayilo as a dedicated, humble, and diligent civil servant whose contribution to the Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, would be remembered.

“On behalf of the FCT Administration and Mr. President, I extend our deepest condolences to her family.

“The President has instructed that her four children be offered automatic employment, understanding that the family has lost its breadwinner,” Wike stated.

He further commended Adayilo’s outstanding service, pointing out her role in guaranteeing timely payment of workers’ salaries and entitlements, as well as her influence as a respected mobiliser within her community.

Wike urged Nigerians to follow her example of commitment, stressing that life’s unpredictability makes it essential to serve both God and humanity sincerely.

During the ceremony, Grace Adayilo, remembered as a compassionate leader and maternal figure, was honoured by colleagues and loved ones for her remarkable career and her dedication to the well-being of others.
