Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State has appointed Benibo Anabraba as the new Secretary to the Rivers State Government (SSG).
Before his appointment, Anabraba held the position of Commissioner for Lands and Survey under the Fubara administration.
Anabraba served as Commissioner before the declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State.
Six months ago, President Bola Tinubu declared a state of emergency in the state and suspended Governor Fubara along with the entire State House of Assembly.
The President also appointed a Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, to oversee the affairs of the state.
After the period of emergency administration, President Tinubu directed Fubara’s reinstatement.
