The Federal High Court in Abuja has convicted the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, on count one of the terrorism charges filed against him by the Federal Government.
The court held that it was convinced Kanu made several broadcasts encouraging violence and killings as part of his push for a separate Biafra state.
Justice James Omotosho delivered the ruling, relying on what he described as “uncontroverted evidence” presented before the court by the prosecution.
