The Defense of the Defenseless Human Right Group (DDHRG) and leaders of Mburumbu Community led by Jonathan Shingaga and Chief Obinna Agu respectively in separate press briefings have debunked the malicious publications by an online pocket journalist-timeafricamagazine alleging attack on natives of Mburumbu Community by operatives of DSS attached to Igwe Jerry Onukaibe as false.
They described the mischievous author’s action as deliberate to mislead the government and fan the embers of crisis in the Community to achieve the tele-guided wishes of his pay master.
Mburumbu Community has long been hijacked by a group of selfish individuals who are bent on inheriting power by force through ancestry to continue weaponization of poverty in ruling the Community.
However, a group of progressives with evidence of developmental projects who have decided to stand up for the marginalized are intimidated and arrested indiscriminately by this feud lords under trumped up charges. The said power drunk individuals who leverage on their positions in Government have yet sponsored this write up alleging that the DSS operatives attached to Chief Jerry Onukaibe shot and killed natives celebrating their new yam festivals.
The write up which is their stoke in trade is ostensibly aimed at sponsoring indiscriminate arrest of the defenseless youths of the community that have decided to stand-up for themselves against their prolonged imperialist rule.
Obinna narrated that no shot was fired by DSS operatives before, during and after the celebration of the Community’s new yam festival and wonders why any sane person would come up with such claim. He called on the security agencies to arrest the online publisher and bring them to justice for spreading false information and engaging in prevarication.
Jonathan Shingaga described the publisher as deficient in knowledge of the workings of the DSS as its operatives are not given to wielding AK 47 rifle for operations. The DDHRG also highlighted that the write up cannot deceive Nigerians who could see through their main intentions.
He thereby called on the Enugu State government to caution Lawrence Eze to desist from activities that threaten the peace of Mburumbu community and undermines efforts of the State Government at ensuring security in the State.
