Bauchi State Governor and PDP Governors’ Forum Chairman, Senator Bala Mohammed, was presented with the Nigerian flag, and the host, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, received the Oyo State flag.
Other notable recipients included Senate Minority Leader Senator Abba Moro, who took the Senate flag, and Hon. Fred Agbedi, who was given the House of Representatives flag.
The convention opened with the accreditation of over 3,000 delegates from all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, as preparations for the voting process got underway in the afternoon.
Since Friday, Ibadan has been bustling with PDP supporters from across Nigeria, gathering in the South-West’s political capital.
The previous evening, Governor Makinde hosted a dinner for PDP Governors, former governors, BoT Chairman Senator Adolphus Wabara, and members of the party’s National Working Committee.
Among the attendees were Governors from Adamawa, Bauchi, Rivers, and Zamfara, as well as former Governors Olagunsoye Oyinlola and Ibrahim Dankwambo.
