The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has unanimously approved its new substantive National Chairman.
The proposal was put forward by Hon. Tony Abineri, Chairman of the PDP’s Edo State chapter, representing over 3,000 delegates at the 2025 Elective PDP Convention held at the main bowl of Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan, on Saturday.
The motion, seconded by Edward Marshal, was made in line with Section 32 of the amended PDP Constitution.
While presenting the motion, Abineri stated, “I hereby move for the ratification of the new substantive National Chairman of the party, in accordance with Section 32 of the PDP Constitution as amended.”
On Saturday, the PDP officially endorsed the new National Chairman following the unanimous vote.
