Labour Party (LP) governorship flagbearer, George Moghalu, has lost his polling unit to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, in the ongoing Anambra State governorship election.
According to early results from Polling Unit 017, Uruagu Ward 1, in Nnewi North Local Government Area, Soludo secured more votes than Moghalu.
Out of 463 registered voters, only 86 were accredited for the November 8 exercise. Soludo garnered 57 votes, while Moghalu trailed with 22. Other candidates shared the remaining votes.
The outcome highlights the early voting pattern in the area as the collation of results continues across Anambra State.
