Boluwatife Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Tife Balogun and the first son of Afrobeats superstar Wizkid, has officially launched his debut music project titled Champion’s Arrival.
In a video shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday, the 14-year-old excitedly announced, “The Champion has arrived. My debut EP ‘Champion’s Arrival’ is out now on all platforms.”
The post quickly gained traction, amassing over 45,000 likes and 4,000 comments from fans who celebrated his bold entry into the music industry.
Tife, the son of Wizkid and his former partner, Shola Ogudu, had earlier teased the project on Instagram with a short clip captioned, “Champion’s Arrival. Videographer: DIKASTUDIOS. Producer: iamhosana_.”
In the teaser, the young artist confidently declared lines such as, “Shoutout to the OGs in the game, but it’s time to pass on the baton,” and “I’ve got zero competition.”
His mother, Shola, expressed pride in her son’s milestone, commenting, “Super proud of you SON!!!! We give God all the glory,” while also linking the EP in her Instagram bio.
The five-track EP — Champion Montana, Grind, Superstar, Champion Sound, and Champion — is now available on Spotify, Audiomack, YouTube Music, Apple Music, and Deezer.
Social media users have continued to react to the release, with one fan, @iamsanchez005, commenting, “Abi nah Wizkid write this song… too mature for Bolu nah. Omo see music. There’s no way this boy, 14, that song Grind is crazy.”
The release of Champion’s Arrival marks Boluwatife’s first official appearance in the music industry, earning him praise and excitement from fans eager to see his next move.
