There was celebration on Wednesday as Governor Ademola Adeleke became the Accord Party’s governorship candidate for the 2026 Osun State election.
Adeleke, who was the only contestant, received 145 out of the 150 delegate votes to win the party’s nomination.
Five votes were declared void.
The result of the primary was announced by the Secretary of the Primary Committee, Abdulazeez Salaudeen.
