Senate President Godswill Akpabio has dismissed reports suggesting that he collapsed and was flown to London for medical treatment.
His Consultant on Communications and Strategy, Kenny Okolugbo, described the claims as entirely false, insisting that there is no truth to the story circulating online.
Reacting to enquiries on the issue, Okolugbo briefly stated, “It’s a lie, fake news,” and declined to provide further details.
The denial follows a report published on Monday, which alleged that the Senate President had collapsed and was airlifted on a private jet to a London hospital for treatment.
