The Performing Musicians Employers’ Association of Nigeria (PMAN) has expressed her profound gratitude to the Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, OFR for approving the sum of ₦20,000,000 (Twenty Million Naira) to cover the medical expenses of veteran Nigerian musician, Innocent Michael Onyebuchi, popularly known as Daddy Fresh.
In the statement signed by the National Secretary of PMAN, Elizabeth Gabriel and made available to "News PlatformNG", the music union body said that the compassionate decision reflects exemplary leadership and a deep recognition of the contributions of Nigerian musicians to the nation’s creative and cultural legacy.
In the same vein, PMAN extended her heartfelt appreciation to the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Entertainment and Tourism, Martins Okey Justice, aka J. Martins for his relentless efforts and follow-up that made this possible.
PMAN also appreciated Naijagal for her powerful advocacy and commitment to amplifying Daddy Fresh’s condition to the world.
The National President of PMAN, Pretty Okafor assured the public that the association will ensure full accountability in the management of the funds and monitor the hospital’s commitment to delivering urgent medical care.
PMAN calls on the music community and general public to continue to pray for Daddy Fresh’s swift and complete recovery.
