A group within the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, led by its chairman, Alhaji Taminu Turaki, on Saturday met privately with former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Turaki was accompanied by former Niger State Governor, Alhaji Muazu Babangida, former Plateau State Governor, Senator Jonah Jang, and several senior party figures.
The delegation arrived at Obasanjo’s residence inside the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta at about 11:38am, after which they proceeded into a closed-door meeting.
At the time of filing this report, no official details had been released regarding the discussions held during the private engagement.
