Sowore Reveals Reasons For Tinubu’s European Trips.

Former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore stated on Sunday that President Bola Tinubu is unwell and is currently managing his health condition.

Sowore also alleged that the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, is “practically dying.”

He made this disclosure while giving details on the reason behind Tinubu’s sudden journey abroad.

Tinubu, who had been in Lagos State for the Christmas and New Year festivities, departed Nigeria for Europe today.

A statement issued by Tinubu’s spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, explained that the president is also expected to embark on an official visit to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.

Onanuga further stated that the president will attend the 2026 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week Summit, following an invitation from the UAE President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Writing on X, Sowore posted: “Nigeria’s Bola Ahmed Tinubu is unwell just managing himself, reason he’s abruptly flown to ‘Europe’ today @Senator_Akpabio is practically dying, why is Nigeria governed by sick people?

“And whereas nothing is wrong with illnesses it is callous to use a country as health insurance for sick leaders.”
