President Bola Tinubu has submitted a new batch of nominees for non-career ambassadorial appointments.
The list was disclosed in a statement issued by the State House.
Among the nominees is Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, a former Navy chief who also previously served as the sole administrator of Rivers State.
The announcement was made on Thursday, December 4, 2025.
Other individuals on the list include former senator Ita Enang, former Imo First Lady Chioma Ohakim, and Abdulrahman Dambazau, a onetime interior minister who also led the Army.
