Ibadan-based cleric, Pastor Biodun Oladele, has foretold that a former Nigerian head of state will die in the year 2026, as part of his prophetic declarations for the coming year.
The prophecy is contained in Pastor Oladele’s yearly message titled “Prophecies for the Year 2026,” where he presented several spiritual revelations relating to Nigeria, its leaders, the economy, and international affairs.
While unveiling the prophecies, Pastor Oladele said that the death of a former head of state would be one of the major political events that will occur in 2026.
Although he did not reveal any name, he appealed to Nigerians to remain prayerful and thoughtful, explaining that such an occurrence would represent an important point in the nation’s political history.
The prophecy appears alongside several others that focus on governance, security, and leadership changes. According to the cleric, the year 2026 will be highly eventful, with developments that will influence Nigeria’s future beyond the immediate period.
Pastor Oladele explained that his prophecies are not intended to create fear but to act as spiritual cautions and calls to prayer. He urged both leaders and citizens to respond with wisdom, unity, and alertness as the country approaches the year.
As with previous prophetic pronouncements, the statement has sparked conversations across religious and public circles, contributing to continuing discussions about leadership, legacy, and Nigeria’s national direction.
