The African Democratic Congress has dismissed reports claiming that the party has appointed a Southwest chairman.
The party made this known through its National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, who said the information being circulated is false and misleading.
According to the party, no individual has been chosen to serve as Southwest chairman, and there are no plans to inaugurate anyone into such a position at this time.
The ADC explained that any claim suggesting the existence of a Southwest chairman or an ongoing inauguration process does not reflect the party’s decision.
Members of the public and party supporters were advised to be careful and ignore any activities or announcements pointing to the appointment of a Southwest chairman.
