Members of the Rivers State House of Assembly have officially written to the Rivers State Chief Judge, Justice Simeon Chibuzor-Amadi, requesting the appointment of a panel of seven (7) persons to investigate allegations of gross misconduct against Governor Siminalaye Fubara GSSRS, the Governor of Rivers State.

The house members, in a letter signed by the Speaker, Martins Chike Amaewhule, requested the Chief Judge to do so as according to them, the house in it's 60th legislative day of the third session of the 10th Assembly, resolved in compliance with session 188(4) of the constitution that these allegations be investigated.
