British Airways has announced the suspension of all flights to and from Abu Dhabi for the remainder of 2026, citing rising instability in Middle Eastern airspace.
The UK flag carrier confirmed that its London to Abu Dhabi route will remain suspended due to security concerns linked to ongoing regional tensions.
The airline said the decision followed a careful assessment of safety risks in the region, which has seen increased military activity, missile alerts, and drone incidents amid escalating conflicts involving Iran and its regional allies.
British Airways emphasized that the safety of passengers and crew remains its top priority, and the suspension will remain in place until conditions improve and airspace stability is restored.
