Nigerian Army Announces Successful Candidates For DSSC 29/2026.

The Nigerian Army has announced the list of successful candidates for the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) 29/2026 Selection Board.

According to the Army, the candidates are to report for officer cadet training at the Nigerian Army School of Infantry, Jaji, Kaduna State, on Friday, March 27, 2026.

The list of successful candidates has been published online and can be accessed through the official recruitment portal.

In a statement, the Army directed all successful candidates to report to the Officer Cadet Training Wing with required materials, including writing materials, original academic credentials with passport photographs, white vests and shorts, white canvas shoes, tracksuits, long sleeve shirts, trousers, socks, a dark coloured lounge suit, national dress or casual wear, wristwatch, black cover shoes, swimming trunks, bed sheets, pillowcases, blanket, football boots and a pressing iron.

Female candidates are also required to report with additional items, including a pair of black low heel cover shoes, lounge skirts, tight shorts and trouser suits.

Serving military personnel selected for the programme have been instructed to report with release letters and passes from their respective commanders or commanding officers.

The Army warned that candidates who fail to report on the stipulated date will forfeit their slots to candidates on the reserve list.

Reserve candidates were advised not to report to the training school unless contacted, noting that no vacancy will be available for them after April 20, 2026.
