The Tanimu Turaki-led faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has fixed Tuesday for the screening of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
Jonathan is expected to go through the process as the only person seeking the party’s presidential ticket at the moment.
According to ThisDay, the screening panel will include former Vice-President Namadi Sambo, ex-Plateau State governor Jonah Jang, and former Foreign Affairs Minister Tom Ikimi, among others. They are expected to assess the former president as part of the party’s internal selection process.
The PDP had earlier confirmed that Jonathan completed his registration during a fresh digital exercise directed by INEC, making him eligible to take part in party activities and contest for tickets.
