APC Reschedules Zamfara Primary Election Dates.



The All Progressives Congress has announced the rescheduling of its National Assembly primary election dates in Zamfara State ahead of the 2026 elections.

According to the new timetable released by the party, the House of Representatives primary election will now hold on Monday, May 18, 2026, while the Senate primary is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

The House of Assembly primary election is expected to take place on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, followed by the governorship primary on Thursday, May 21, 2026. The presidential primary election is slated for Saturday, May 23, 2026.

The party also released dates for appeals arising from the primaries.

Appeals for the House of Representatives primary will hold on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, Senate appeals on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, House of Assembly appeals on Thursday, May 21, 2026, and governorship appeals on Friday, May 22, 2026.

The APC said the rescheduling affects only Zamfara State.
