Wunmi Aloba has opened up about the lingering family crisis surrounding the d+ath of her husband, MohBad, revealing that their relationship with his father became strained after the birth of their child.
Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, Wunmi said, “We use to be best of friends I think we fell out after I had my child because of the naming ceremony issues, just family feud that became very serious.”
She further explained that when the controversies surrounding Mohbad’s d+ath began, she reached out to her late husband’s father for support but was left disappointed.
“When the whole issues started I was scared and had to reach out to him but he didn’t care he was just talking about my husband’s properties. I was so confused if I could cope with all of that. I felt he was trying to cheat me cause he is older than me,” she said.
According to her, the dispute has now worsened beyond reconciliation.
“But at this point, I don’t think this whole family feud can be settled anymore cause what he wants is not something that I can give, it can never happen,” she added.
When asked what exactly her father-in-law wanted, Wunmi replied, “He actually wants the DNA result of my child to be negative, want to be in possession of my husband’s royalty. As the head of the family I expected him to do it how it is supposed to be done.”
She concluded by maintaining that she has never resisted calls for a DNA test involving her son. “I have never opposed to have DNA test for Liam, never,” she stated.
