Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC), Dr. Cyril Tsenyil Yiltsen, has reaffirmed the commitment of the Commission in working with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) towards strong intervention in addressing securing challenges confronting the North Central Region.
Dr. Yiltsen gave the commendation during a courtesy visit by the
Nasarawa State Command of the NSCDC to the headquarters of the Commission in
Lafia. He appreciated the support and cooperation the Corps has continued to
extend to the Commission since its establishment.
He praised the dedication, professionalism, and commitment of the NSCDC,
noting that the Commission holds the security outfit in high esteem because of
the cordial working relationship already established between both
organisations.
According to him, the North Central Development Commission recognises
the strategic importance of security in the successful execution of development
projects and programmes across the region.
Dr. Yiltsen further stated that as the Commission expands its operations
and activities within the North Central zone, there would be greater need for
closer collaboration with the NSCDC, particularly in the area of addressing
insecurity, monitoring and protecting projects, facilities, and other
development initiatives.
Speaking earlier, the Nasarawa State Commandant of the NSCDC, Commandant

Commission through continuous collaboration, professionalism, and its
unwavering mandate of protecting critical national infrastructure and assets.

service, noting that security remains essential for sustainable growth and
development.
