A suspected drug dealer has been arrested in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State after a local security outfit caught him during a night patrol and handed him over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency for investigation.
The arrest was carried out by members of the Agbor Gha-Ihun Security Outfit around 2:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2026. The suspect, Isioma Anthony, who is said to be from Ndokwa West Local Government Area, was picked up during a routine patrol in the area.
Security operatives said different quantities of illegal drugs were found with him, including 40 grams of crack cocaine, 240 grams of cannabis, 12 grams of heroin, and 17 grams of methamphetamine.
After he was arrested, the suspect reportedly said that the economic situation and the need to survive pushed him into drug dealing.
The Chairman of the Agbor Gha-Ihun Security Outfit, Chief Sunny Ibude, said the group will continue to work against crime, cult-related activities, and drug dealing in Agbor Kingdom and nearby communities.
The suspect has been moved to the NDLEA office in Agbor for further investigation and possible prosecution.
