Nollywood actress and Special Assistant to the Speaker of the House of Representatives on Social Events and Public Hearings, Eniola Badmus, has sparked reactions on social media after saying she does not know what it means to be broke.
The actress made the remark while speaking at a red carpet event, where she was asked how she copes with periods of financial difficulty.
Responding to the question, Badmus said she could not relate to the experience of lacking money.
“I do not even know the meaning of being broke,” she said.
She went on to share her views on wealth and success, describing being rich as having the freedom to purchase anything one desires, live comfortably and make a positive impact on the lives of others.
According to the actress, financial success goes beyond material possessions and includes the ability to assist and uplift people around you.
Badmus also stated that having money is a clear indicator of success.
