Iyabo Ojo and her daughter, Priscilla Mkambala, were among the celebrities who attended the star-studded ceremony in Warri, Delta State, on Saturday, 25 July.
In a video shared on social media, Lizzy questioned Iyabo's trip to the event, alleging that the private jet she and her daughter were seen posing in never departed Lagos. According to Lizzy, the pair only posed inside the aircraft to create a misleading impression online.
She also suggested that Iyabo attended the wedding for financial reasons, claiming she was seeking donations. "You travelled for a party just because you needed donations, just because you are broke and poor. That is why you had to travel with your daughter to the party. How many of the other guests attended the party with their children?" Lizzy said in the video.
Responding to a follower who suggested she was upset about not being invited to the wedding, Lizzy dismissed the claim, insisting she is not interested in social events and prefers to focus on her business.
"I am not a party person. I am a business person par excellence. If you see me at your party, you do not know what I have done for you. That is why, when I host a party, I do not expect much from people. I do not prepare for a crowd. The quality people might be just five or ten," she said.
Lizzy went on to question Iyabo's decision to attend the event, saying, "Must you go to that party, Iyabo Ojo? Go and get a job!"
At the time of writing, Iyabo Ojo has not publicly responded to Lizzy Anjorin's remarks.
