No Nigerian Artiste Can Win The Grammys If They Don’t Feature Me - Portable.

Controversial singer Portable has once again set social media buzzing after boldly claiming that no Nigerian artiste can win a Grammy Award without collaborating with him.

Speaking during an appearance on Channels TV’s Rubbin’ Minds, the “Zazoo Zeh” crooner confidently declared, “If any artist wants to collect a Grammy in this Nigeria, if he no feature me, he no go collect am.”

Doubling down on the statement, Portable added, “If you want to collect Grammy, standard, they are going to nominate you. Come and feature me. I am the new face.”

The singer went on to compare himself to Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, describing himself as “New born Fela! See my style!”

According to him, his influence continues to grow, saying, “I have look-alikes, like thousands look-alikes! Even many people, they are looking up to me.”

When asked if there was anyone he wanted to reconcile with after his numerous public feuds, Portable brushed off the question before steering the conversation towards Nigerian politics.

Responding to questions about President Bola Tinubu, he said the president had never given him money personally but claimed people around him had supported him financially.

Portable further revealed that Seyi Tinubu, the president’s son, had been generous to him.

“Seyi dey give me money. Wọ́n fun mi ni 10 million, 30 million ( He gave me N10M, N30M). Let me tell you about Nigeria! Ask me about Nigeria!” he said repeatedly while trying to redirect the interview.
