Controversial Nollywood actor-cum-noisemaker and self-acclaimed governorship candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Doris Ogala kicks against the campaign billboard fees introduced by the Abia State Signage and Advertising Agency (ABSSAA).
According to ABSSAA's head of strategy, Presidential
candidates will pay N200 million, Governorship candidates will pay N150
million, Senatorial candidates will pay N100 million, House of Representatives
and Assembly candidates will pay N50 million and N20 million respectively.
In her usual noise making manner, Doris Ogala claimed
she has no godfather, so how did they expect her to afford N150m for millboard
and threatened that if she does mot put campaign billboard in the state, no one
among those campaigning for election would have a billboard in the state.
According to her, let all of us campaign with not
billboards.
