Music executive Ubi Franklin has shared details of a Lagos State Magistrate Court judgment in which an unidentified man was sentenced to nine months' imprisonment for stabbing a woman after she rejected his sexual advances.
Franklin disclosed the case on social media, saying the incident stemmed from a commercial dispute between the man and the woman.
According to him, the man had initially agreed to pay the woman ₦2,000 for each sexual encounter. After two encounters, he allegedly attempted to renegotiate the fee, offering ₦1,600 for a third meeting.

He alleged that the man became enraged by her refusal and stabbed her during the confrontation.
The music executive said the case was subsequently prosecuted before a Lagos State Magistrate Court, which convicted the man and sentenced him to nine months in prison.
Sharing the judgment, Franklin highlighted the case as an example of swift judicial action against violent offenders.
