Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has joined the ongoing "Olodo Uprising" conversation, questioning why some people continue to describe him as unintelligent despite what he says are his personal and professional achievements.
Speaking during an appearance on The Honest Bunch podcast, the singer challenged the perception that he is an "Olodo", a slang term commonly used to describe someone as uneducated or unintelligent.
Portable pointed to what he described as evidence of his success, including owning houses, being married and securing a 10-year Canadian work permit.
He argued that despite his accomplishments and international opportunities, some critics continue to ridicule his intelligence.
The singer maintained that his achievements should be recognised rather than dismissed, insisting that the label does not reflect his reality.
