Tinubu Mourns Death Of Aide’s Father At 91.




President Bola Tinubu has expressed sadness over the death of Chief Idowu Folorunsho Dada, father of his Special Assistant on Social Media, Olusegun Dada.

The deceased, who died at the age of 91, was mourned by the Presidency in a statement released on Tuesday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

Olusegun Dada had earlier announced his father’s death in a post on X, describing his loss as a painful moment and bidding farewell to his father.

President Tinubu described Chief Dada as a disciplined and compassionate man whose life was marked by honesty and strong family values.

The President said the late Dada had a remarkable career as a former Sales Manager at NEXAN Kablemetal Nigeria Plc, where he earned the respect of colleagues and associates.

Tinubu also praised the deceased for raising his children with strong moral principles, noting his influence on Olusegun Dada and other members of the family.

The statement added that Chief Dada was committed to his faith and was known for his dedication to his family.

Tinubu offered his condolences to the children and relatives of the deceased, urging them to take comfort in the legacy and reputation he left behind. He also prayed for the peaceful rest of Chief Dada’s soul.
