Deeone raised the issue in a video shared online while questioning the credibility of Cross’ claim.
“Cross, who offered you ₦500 million to sleep with you? At least, let people even see small evidence,” he said.
The comedian also questioned why anyone would allegedly offer such a huge amount of money for a sexual encounter, drawing comparisons with other claims involving former Big Brother Naija housemates.
Deeone further criticised what he described as a narrative suggesting that men can easily make huge sums of money through same-sex relationships.
He urged members of the public to be cautious about accepting such claims without evidence, while calling for greater attention to issues affecting the country and the entertainment industry.
Cross had previously spoken about allegedly receiving offers from men, including the reported ₦500 million proposal, in exchange for having sex with him.
