Today in Abuja, the President of the Ugwumba Leadership Center, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu received in audience, the President of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, Esv. Johnbull Amayaevbo and his entourage on a courtesy call.
Addressing the audience, our President, who is a professional Town Planner reiterated that the importance of the institution in the economic development of the nation cannot be over-emphasized since real estate has become the most lucrative sector of the economy after oil and gas.
He harped on the need for the institution to collaborate with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and other stakeholders to enable them fish out scammers, who parade themselves as real estate consultants but end up ripping unsuspecting Nigerians of their hard-earned resources.
He used the opportunity to congratulate the newly elected President and promised that the Ugwumba Leadership Center would support his Council in their agenda to build the leadership capacities of their members across the country.
Earlier in his speech, Esv. Johnbull Amayaevbo said they were on the courtesy call to introduce the new leadership of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers to our President, who is also their National Patron.
He therefore used the opportunity to invite him as one of the Special Guests at the inaugural ceremony of the 25th President and the 2022 – 2024 Council of the Institution scheduled to hold in Abuja on the 29th of July, 2022.
On the delegation were: Esv. Chief Emeka Onuorah, the BOT Chairman; Esv. Sir Charles Oghenero Ebiri, Council Member; Esv. Dr. Ethel Mendie, Council Member; and Dr. Uche Ukachikara, Executive Secretary.
