Nigerian influencer, Priscilla Ojo, has spoken about the rumours that once surrounded her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, saying he was wrongly assumed to be impotent in his home country because he had no child at the age of 35, despite being famous and financially successful.
She shared this during a candid interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, while reflecting on the challenges they faced before welcoming their first child in August 2025.
She explained that the speculation grew stronger because many of his friends and fellow entertainers already had children, while he did not, even though he had been in several relationships in the past.
According to Priscilla, people kept questioning why he had no children, which led to widespread assumptions about his personal life before they eventually got together.
She noted that: “In his country Tanzania, people thought he was impotent because he didn’t have a child or a babymama like many of his friends and colleagues. They kept asking why he wasn’t having kids like others. But he knew his timing and was disciplined. He knew what he wanted and didn’t just follow trends.”
Priscilla added that even after the birth of their son, the rumours did not stop, as some people continued to speculate that the child was conceived through surrogacy or other medical procedures rather than naturally.
