FRSC Opens 2026 Recruitment Exercise, Invites Nigerians To Apply.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced the commencement of its 2026 recruitment exercise and called on qualified Nigerians to apply for available positions across various cadres of the organisation.

According to a notice issued by the corps, the online application process will begin on July 3, 2026, and remain open for four weeks through the agency’s official recruitment portal. The notice was signed by Deputy Corps Marshal and Head of Administration and Human Resources, Pauline Olaye, on behalf of the Corps Marshal.

The agency stated that vacancies are available in the Officer Cadre, Marshal Inspectorate Cadre and Road Marshal Assistant Cadre.

For the Officer Cadre, opportunities are available for Superintendent Route Commanders, Route Commanders, Deputy Route Commanders and Assistant Route Commanders.

The corps said professionals such as doctors, pharmacists, nurses, medical laboratory scientists, lawyers, engineers, as well as holders of B.Sc., BA and HND qualifications, can apply depending on the position. Applicants in this category are expected to be between 18 and 35 years old.

The Marshal Inspectorate Cadre is open to candidates with qualifications including NCE, ND/OND, Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife and Community Health Extension Worker certificates. Interested applicants must be between 18 and 30 years of age.

For the Road Marshal Assistant Cadre, applicants are required to possess at least three credits in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination, including English Language and Mathematics.

The corps also encouraged skilled workers and artisans to apply. Eligible trades include computer operators, mechanics, electricians, plumbers, tailors, motorcycle riders and drivers.

Applicants in these categories must possess the necessary trade certificates and licences where required.

Driver and rider applicants are expected to hold valid licences corresponding to their vehicle category, while articulated vehicle and tow-truck drivers must be between 26 and 40 years old.

FRSC listed several conditions for prospective candidates.

Applicants must be Nigerians by birth, medically fit, computer literate and single. They must also possess the relevant educational qualifications and professional licences for their chosen positions.

The corps stated that male applicants must be at least 1.65 metres tall, while female applicants must have a minimum height of 1.58 metres.

Candidates were advised to declare all qualifications during the application process, as certificates not presented during recruitment would not be recognised later for career advancement within the organisation.

The agency also stated that applicants must have good character, be free from financial indebtedness and must not have any criminal record. It added that candidates should not have tattoos on any part of their bodies.

Pregnant women were advised not to participate in the exercise.

FRSC warned members of the public against falling victim to fraudsters, insisting that the recruitment process is completely free and does not require payment at any stage.

The corps advised applicants to use their personal email addresses and telephone numbers when registering and noted that shortlisted candidates would be required to present printed copies of their completed application forms during the screening stage.

Members of the public seeking additional information were directed to contact the agency through its emergency line, 122.
