The Lagos State Government carried out extensive operations on Thursday to clear major roads of illegal street trading and improve safety across the city.
Authorities focused on busy areas where traders had blocked traffic and created hazards for road users.
Key locations included Ogudu Road near Ojota Junction, Iyana-Ipaja Under Bridge, and Egbeda Junction.
During the enforcement, officers confiscated goods from traders who were operating on the roads and arrested 15 individuals.
The arrested traders are expected to appear in court, while the seized items will be taken over by the state as provided under current laws.
Officials stressed that street trading remains prohibited in Lagos and warned that such enforcement actions will continue to ensure roads remain open and safe for all commuters.
Residents and business operators were urged to follow the rules to maintain orderly and accessible streets throughout the city.
