Natasha Protests In Senate.

Tension rose in the Senate when Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan from Kogi Central expressed her frustration over being left out of the North Central Development Commission Committee.

She arrived at a recent committee meeting ready to participate, only to find that her name was missing from the list of invited senators.

Seeking clarification, she approached the committee chairman’s office along with her aides.

A confrontation occurred between her team and staff of the chairman, Titus Tartenger Zam.

During the incident, some of the chairman’s aides reportedly seized a phone from her media team and exchanged harsh words.

Akpoti-Uduaghan said her exclusion was part of an ongoing pattern that she believes undermines her role and authority as a senator.

She questioned the legal and procedural reasoning for leaving her out of a committee directly affecting her region.

The senator reaffirmed her commitment to fairness in legislative processes and pledged to continue ensuring that her rights and the interests of her constituents are respected.

Efforts to reach Senator Zam for comment were unsuccessful at the time of reporting.
